Brigitte Bardot
Looking beyond its main character, Brigitte Bardot, “Me, I play” deals with freedom of speech in the media and the two-way process of influence between the media and their main players. To take a closer look at the outcome of this process the piece offers video and sound material from the life and work of Brigitte Bardot, taking it out of its initial context, presenting it to the audience in order for them to reconsider the origin of their “own” opinions.
“Me, I play” is an installation performance commissioned by Les Grandes Traversées for gallery Eponyme in Bordeaux, France.
