JARED GRADINGER 

Jared Gradinger is a founding member of the Berlin based dance theater company Constanza Macras/Dorky Park. After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with an acting degree, he moved to New York City and piddled around. In 2002, he was invited to Berlin by Constanza Macras to create Mir 3: Endurance. Since the creation of Dorky Park, he has created 7 major works with the company and assisted Macras in numerous workshops and productions. Jared also works in collaboration with Pictoplasma (contemporary character design and art) whom he staged 'Get Into Character' with for the 2nd Pictoplasma Conference in the Haus der Berliner Festspiele 2006. His ongoing work relationship with Pictoplasma includes a new piece with Angela Schubot for their conference in 2009 in the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin. He has also been working as a curator for Les Grande Traversees in Bordeaux, France to create a 48 hour festival of living arts. The festival entitled How Do You Are is a celebration of over 50 artists of different mediums from around the world. It will be presented on December 30th and 31st, 2008 in Bordeaux, France. He will also curate a festival under the same title in June of 2009 in Soulac, France. His video work has been screened throughout Europe, Canada and Asia.
