Panic Production

MARGRET SARA GUDJONSDOTTIR

Margret Sara Gudjonsdottir was born in Reykjavík in 1978. She studied at the dance departments of both the Arnhem and the Amsterdam Art Academie, and graduated in 2002.
Margret Sara co-founded the production company Panic Productions in Iceland in 2004. Since then she has created four performances and two performance installations for gallery spaces, three dance films, in addition to three collaborative works with invited artists under the name of Panic Productions.
She lives and works between Amsterdam and Berlin.

As a performer Margret Sara is currently performing in Gisele Viènne’s latest production, titled „This is how you will disappear”, which premiered at Festival d´Avignon in 2010.

Margret Sara has worked with, amongst others: Gisele Viènne, Erna Ómarsdóttir and Jóhann Jóhannsson, Constanza Macras/Dorky Park, Esther Salamon, Jan Fabre, Anne Tismer, Rahel Salvoldelli/Gutes Tun and Lisi Estaras.
