MARGRET SARA GUDJONSDOTTIR
Margret Sara studied in HKA dance academy of Arnhem and Amsterdam in Holland and graduated in 2002. She has created 10 performances over the last 10 year and created her first professional work in the year 2000, later co-founding the Icelandic performance production house Panic Productions in Iceland in 2004. Her performances have been shown in festivals in Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Norway and the City theater of Iceland.
Together with Erna Omarsdottir and Johann Johannsson she created the performance "The Mysteries of Love", which was commissioned by the Festival D'Avignon in 2005.
Currently she is working with Gisele Viènne on her new production "This is how you will disappear", which will premiere in Festival D'Avignon 2010.
During her carrier Margret Sara has worked with amongst others: Gisele Vienne/DACM, Erna Omarsdottir and Johann Johannsson, Anne Tismer and Rahel Salvoldelli/GutesTun, Esther Salamon, Constanza Macras/Dorkypark, Lisi Estaras/Les Ballet C de la B, Nir De Volff/TotalBrutal and Jan Fabre.
